Molendam
The Molendam is a 0.6 km cobbled section with 9 metres of elevation gain. With an average gradient of 1.6% and ramps reaching up to 2.5%, it's one of the standout sectors in the region.
Just outside the classic routes, in the shadow of the famous climbs, lie cobbles that nobody talks about. No commentators. No crowds. No cameras. Just stones, poorly laid, completely forgotten and brutal. This is Molendam and these are some of the worst cobbles in Flanders.
