Knokteberg
The Knokteberg is a 1.2 km climb with 88 metres of elevation gain. With an average gradient of 7.5% and ramps reaching up to 11.1%, it's one of the standout sectors in the region.
There is no shortcut on the Knokteberg. Often overlooked compared to the famous cobbled giants of Flanders, this 1.2-kilometer ascent is a silent test of endurance. Without the cobbles to betray your traction, the asphalt seems forgiving… until your legs burn and your lungs scream. Every pedal stroke becomes a small battle, and every turn of the corner reminds you that even a “simple” climb can break you. The Knokteberg may not have the fame of the Koppenberg or Oude Kwaremont, but it leaves no mercy for those who underestimate it.
